The Nigeria number 1 citizen, President Buhari is expected to declare open this year’s Nigerian Army Small Arms Championship in Sambisa forest in Borno.

David Ahmadu, the Chief of Training and Operations, Nigerian Army headquarters, disclosed this at a news conference on the championship in Maiduguri on Friday.

Mr. Ahmadu, a major general, said the event was slated for March 27 to 31 at the former stronghold of the terrorist Boko Haram sect.

He said the championship was part of the training activities of the Nigerian Army aimed at sharpening the marksmanship of its personnel.

“The Nigerian Army Small Arms Championship otherwise known as NASAC is part of the training activities scheduled for 2017.

“It is a championship among the formations of the Nigerian Army, the objective of the event is to sharpen the marksmanship skills of the army personnel,’’ Mr. Ahmadu said.

He said, “All formations of the Nigerian Army will be competing with the best carting away the prestigious Chief of Army Staff trophy.’’

Mr. Ahmadu said the championship was aimed at consolidating on the total defeat and routing out of Boko Haram terrorists from their operational headquarters in camp zero in Sambisa forest.

“Furthermore, the championship will also mark the commencement of the ongoing plan to move speedily and make the Sambisa forest general area safe for habitation.

“It is also to make the place an area for the Nigerian Army training activities,’’ he said.

Mr. Ahmadu said: “To this end provisions had already been made for the reopening of more roads, construction of culverts and bridges by army engineers to facilitate easy movement to the general area.

“There is no gainsaying that the championship is set to another epoch making event that will further emphasise the Nigerian Army efforts and resolve in meeting its constitutional role of defending the territorial integrity of the nation,’’ he said.

This is amazing!!! Snow falls in South West Nigeria

Snow falls in Ekiti state
Should it be excitement or surprise to Ado Ekiti residents as many rush out to catch a glimpse of the rare occurrence.

The rain lasted for barely 40 mins.

Ireoluwa Akinyemi, a fresh graduate of EKSU said it was a refreshed experience for him.

“I have not seen snow in this magnitude before, I’m really excited. It is a lovely experience.”

Another neighbour, Kemi Fadairo, said the size of the snow was the biggest she had seen.

“I have been seeing snows fall but these are the biggest I have seen,” she said.

The rain started by stoning doors with the snow, first causing apprehension among residents, who peeped through their windows to observe if it was an intruder.

“We thought it was somebody playing pranks, so we peeped through the window to see who it was to know whether to shout for help.

“It was then we discovered it was snow falling from the sky and hitting the door hard. I also joined in taking photographs,” said Olawale Hafeez, a Laboratory Technologist.

Trump Very Furious Jared Kushner & Ivanka On Aspen Vacay During Health Bill Disaster

Who’s to blame for the dissolution of Trumpcare? Refusing to take responsibility, Donald Trump shifted the attention onto someone else — daughter Ivanka and Jared Kushner, who were enjoying a lavish vacation in Aspen during the healthcare disaster.
Donald Trump, 70, suffered a HUGE blow to his ego on Mar. 24. Moments before the House was supposed to vote on Trumpcare, the President took the bill off the table in fear that it would not get enough votes from the Democratic party.

Following his decision to postpone the Obamacare repeal plan, Trump blamed his very own daughter and her husband for the Trumpcare flop in Washington D.C. In his eyes, Ivanka Trump, 35, and Jared Kusher, 36, should have been in the nation’s capital showing their support instead of skiing with their kids in Aspen, Colorado.

Bible Reading: If a person isn't loving and kind, it shows that he doesn't know God—for God is love.

Jesus wept tears of compassion at the graveside of a friend. He mourned over Jerusalem because as a city it had lost its appreciation of the things of the Spirit. His great heart was sensitive to the needs of others. To emphasize the importance of man’s love for men, He revised an old commandment to make it read, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart . . . and thy neighbor as thyself.”

This generation is rough and tough. I heard a little boy boasting one day about how tough he was. He said, “On the street I live on, the farther out you go the tougher they get, and I live in the last house.” Until you have learned the value of compassionately sharing others’ sorrow, distress, and misfortune, you cannot know real happiness.

Memorise: For everyone that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. Hebrews 5:13

Read: Hebrews 5:11-14 (King James Version)

11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Attaining maturity in the Kingdom of God is a process that occurs in stages, the first of which is babyhood. When a person becomes born again, he or she has to first learn the basic principles of life in Christ. Believers at this stage are fed with the milk of God’s word (1st Peter 2:2). They cannot take anything hard because they are babies. They depend on others to simplify processes for them. Just like babies in the natural realm, other people must carry them and clean them up; all they do is eat, play and sleep. If you are too dependent on others, you are most likely still in the babyhood stage spiritually, irrespective of your biological age. If you are very selective of the word of God you read, believe and practice, you are a baby. If you are always complaining about other people, what they did and how they did it, you could just be a baby. Spiritual babies are so dependant on the prayers of others. When confronted by the storms of life, if instead of going on your knees to pray, you find yourself pursuing one pastor or prophet around to pray for you, it is because you need to grow up.

Another level of maturity is adulthood. Christians in this stage are mature and no longer depend on milk but eat strong meat. Hebrews 5:14 says this about them:
“But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”

One major difference between those in babyhood and those in the adulthood stage of maturity is their level of discernment. Babes cannot discern anything.

Anywhere people erect a signpost and call it a church, a babe will go there to worship. To him or her, every church is a Church of God. On the other hand, adults are more discerning. They are able to test every spirit they come in contact with by comparing the character of such spirits with the Holy Scriptures. They are also able to apply the “fruit test”, for every tree will be identified by the fruit it produces. An adult Christian is able to differentiate between good and evil. He or she can tell who is a servant of God and who is not. Can you call yourself an adult Christian? How sharp is your ability to discern? Are you able to discern between right and wrong?

It is amazing that some Christians, who claim to have been saved for several years, still cannot discern between true and false prophets. Are you fellowshipping with people you should not be fellowshipping with? Can you differentiate the Holy Spirit from unclean spirits at any point in time?

Prayer Point :
Father, grant me grace to grow to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
